RRCHS is an all volunteer group with a membership that continues to grow. It is governed by a Board of Directors who oversee its operation. If you wish to join us please complete the application that can be found HERE and send it along with your dues to our membership secretary. Come up and see us at work on our railroad along with our partners the ACHS

Due to the covid-19 pandemic, all runs on the Amador Central Railroad are cancelled including April 11th and May 9th "Runs for the public" and April 25th "History Run". The remaining runs for the year will be decided upon as we find out how severe a risk this virus becomes. We are truly sorry to have to do this but we feel that we must provide a safe and healthy environment for our riders. Thank you for your understanding and your interest in the Amador Central Railroad. Take care and stay healthy.

Rides for the public are BACK!

Amador Central Railroad is finally able to offer Rides for the Public after our long Covid lock down. Our first runs will begin on August 14th at Lanes Station located on Highway 104 half way between Highway 88 and Ione. Rides will also be offered the second Saturday of every month through October, weather permitting.

Tickets go on sale at 9 a.m. at Lanes Station. No presales or reservations at this time, first come first served. We will offer three runs for the day, 10 a.m., 12 p.m., and 2 p.m. weather permitting. If it is close to a triple digit day temperature wise, we will only be doing the two early runs.

Price is still just $10.00 per seat for a 6 mile round trip ride up into Gold Country that lasts about an hour. Children must be at least 5 years old to ride. Please, no smoking or drinking of alcoholic beverages on railroad property.

Host and Excursion Coordinator for our exciting ventures into the beautiful gold country foothills is Mark Demler. Contact Mark for more information if needed.
